About the position

The Senior Business Analyst at Gallagher Bassett will play a crucial role in supporting the Luminos product, an award-winning Risk Management Information System (RMIS). This position involves collaborating with a team of experienced analysts to define systems scope and objectives, analyze business processes, and implement operational improvements. The role requires strong communication skills to facilitate meetings and document business requirements, ensuring effective solutions are developed in a complex business environment.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and define systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding.
• Analyze business processes, identify deficiencies, research solutions, and oversee remediation.
• Assist with the design and implementation of operational and system improvements.
• Write and validate business requirements and conduct User Acceptance Testing with stakeholders and vendors.
• Build trust in key business partner relationships.
• Create clarity in projects and work effectively through ambiguity.
• Handle complex business and technical environments across multiple platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.
• 3+ years' experience in a Business Systems Analyst role; 5+ years preferred.
• 3+ years' experience working with SQL and Microsoft Excel; Power BI experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to self-motivate, set goals, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Experience working with disparate data sources and creating unified solutions.
