About the position

The Senior Business Consultant - Life Sciences Quality at Veeva Systems is responsible for managing complex consulting projects within the Quality domain for top pharmaceutical companies. This role involves leading project delivery, building relationships with clients, and providing strategic insights to enhance the value of Veeva's Quality suite of products. The consultant will also mentor junior team members and drive business development opportunities, all while working in a flexible environment that supports remote work.

Responsibilities

• Lead Quality projects as the operational face of a Veeva Quality Consulting team, managing all aspects of delivery including scope, quality, resources, risks, and timelines.
• Be responsible for the end-to-end design, build, and delivery of deliverables that meet overall project goals and objectives.
• Identify and proactively solve problems faced by the client.
• Serve as a trusted client contact for strategic and operational questions, developing relationships through discussions, workshops, and various communication methods.
• Manage the work and priorities of team members on projects.
• Support and mentor Consultants and Associates in developing skills and professional capabilities.
• Provide clients with industry, market, and functional insights, particularly regarding Quality-specific challenges.
• Proactively lead business development opportunities and proposals related to the Quality value chain.
• Develop and disseminate thought leadership and campaigns that differentiate Veeva Business Consulting in the market for Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with an excellent academic record.
• 5+ years of consulting experience in a strategic/management consulting organization.
• Strong Life Sciences background with interest in the Quality value chain or areas such as R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Safety.
• Good understanding of Life Sciences Quality and experience in consulting engagements in Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.
• Familiarity with technologies used in Quality, ideally Veeva's platforms and solutions.
• Understanding of business capabilities and drivers underpinning digital technology in health and life sciences.
• Proven analytical skills for assessing problems and communicating solutions.
• A problem-solving mindset with the ability to anticipate issues and find solutions.
• Demonstrated leadership in delivering complex deliverables.
• Highly efficient project management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with people at all levels and establish credibility quickly.
• Strong personal impact and ability to influence stakeholders.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Willingness to travel roughly up to 25%.
