About the position

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Senior Business Consultant to join the Workforce Intelligence Center of Excellence (COE) in HR. This team is dedicated to delivering data-driven, integrated solutions that support our most valuable asset: our people. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting impactful initiatives within the HR function, providing consulting and insights to senior HR and business leaders, and collaborating with a diverse team that fosters innovation and creativity. This position will equip you to tackle a wide range of projects and drive them to successful completion, enhancing your business acumen and enabling you to navigate the complexities of the business world effectively. As a Senior Business Consultant, you will deliver strategic analysis and consulting to HR leaders across the business by harnessing data from multiple sources and leveraging advanced tools and solutions. You will lead the creation and implementation of an external market analysis service that supports businesses and HR programs related to site selection, market competitiveness, and workforce planning. Additionally, you will operationalize advanced analytics solutions, develop communications and training, and foster cross-functional relationships to discover opportunities that enhance the impact and value of solutions. Your role will also involve project management and business consulting rigor for special projects and fast-moving requests, partnering with HR COEs and Corporate Functions on data requests and emerging priorities, and collaborating with other members of the Workforce Intelligence COE on solution design and deployment. You will support the testing and evaluation of new solutions and drive HR adoption of these solutions, acting as a change agent for data projects that enable future insights.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver strategic analysis and consulting to HR leaders across the business by harnessing data from multiple sources.
  • Lead creation and implementation of an external market analysis service supporting businesses and HR programs around site selection, market competitiveness, and workforce planning.
  • Operationalize advanced analytics solutions, including developing communications and training.
  • Develop cross-functional relationships and discover opportunities that enhance the impact and value of solutions.
  • Bring project management and business consulting rigor to special projects and fast-moving requests.
  • Partner with HR COEs and Corporate Functions on data requests and emerging priorities.
  • Collaborate with other members of the Workforce Intelligence COE on solution design and deployment.
  • Support testing and evaluation of new solutions and increase HR adoption of solutions.
  • Drive and become a change agent for data projects that further enable future insights.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience, or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Experience in Consulting, Analytics, Finance, Strategy, and/or Human Resources.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience building data-based recommendations to solve complex problems.
  • Experience leading meaningful change in a large and complex organization.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with statistics, forecasting, and modeling methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain data and findings to a non-technical audience.
