About the position

The Senior Data Solutions Analyst role within the Merchandise Operations Business Intelligence team focuses on providing data solutions to support the objectives of the Merchandising organization. This position involves collaboration with cross-functional partners and IT teams to ensure effective data solutions that enhance visibility and streamline processes in areas such as Inventory Management, Forecasting & Replenishment, Order Management, and Product Disposition.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional partners across the enterprise to ensure holistic solutions are effectively addressed.
• Act as a liaison between the business and technical teams to understand key merchandising and BI applications.
• Gather requirements, develop, test, and deploy data solutions that improve visibility and streamline processes.
• Prioritize requests across projects, enhancements, ad-hoc needs, documentation, and system testing in collaboration with MerchOps BI leadership.
• Engage in training and skill enhancement in GCP, Python, and Power BI as team needs evolve.

Requirements

• Proven experience in data analysis and business intelligence solutions.
• Strong understanding of Inventory Management, Forecasting & Replenishment, Order Management, and Product Disposition processes.
• Experience with HANA, Oracle, and SQL Server as backend technologies.
• Proficiency in Tableau and WEBI as front-end tools.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with GCP, Python, and Power BI for data analysis and visualization.
• Experience in a retail or merchandising environment.
