About the position

EarthScience Information Systems (EScIS) is a trusted global leader in environmental data management software, and we are expanding our business into the US. We are looking for experienced Senior Business Development & Sales Representatives located in Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Sacramento, Los Angeles, or Denver to promote and increase sales of our ESdat software. This role is crucial as we aim to drive a revolution in Environmental Data Management in the USA. You will become a vital member of an expanding business that values and rewards achievement, while also being supported in your personal and professional growth. As a Senior Business Development & Sales Representative, your primary responsibility will be to achieve agreed revenue targets for the sale of ESdat by identifying and gaining business from new clients. You will promote our software and services to prospects and your connections at conferences, events, meetings, and online. Your day-to-day activities will include identifying new sales opportunities, nurturing leads, developing relationships with key decision-makers, closing new sales, and overseeing the software implementation process once sales have been won to ensure clients are completely satisfied. You will also be responsible for reporting on your progress and success while collaborating with the global EScIS team. To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate experience in a Business Development or Sales role selling to the Environmental Consulting, Mining, or similar industries. A degree or diploma in a relevant field is required, along with familiarity with environmental data and reporting. Outstanding negotiation skills, persuasive ability, and excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills are essential. A can-do attitude is a must!

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in a Business Development or Sales role selling to the Environmental Consulting, Mining or similar industry.

  • Outstanding negotiation skills, persuasive ability and excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
