About the position

The Senior Business Immigration Analyst at Fragomen plays a crucial role in providing exceptional client service and navigating the complexities of global immigration. This position offers opportunities for immediate impact, training, development, and long-term growth within a dynamic and passionate team focused exclusively on immigration.

Responsibilities

  • Develop knowledge of the firm, various immigration case types, and client processes.
  • Perform tasks related to case preparation and filing of petitions with government agencies, including document gathering, document review, case drafting, and case filing.
  • Communicate with foreign nationals and client contacts, providing clear and prompt responses regarding case status or other general inquiries under the guidance of a supervisor.
  • Meet assigned deadlines that adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and communicate case progress, status, and escalations to the supervisor.
  • Compile and summarize large quantities of data within case management systems for reporting to clients, managers, and the team.
  • Understand and contribute to team and individual productivity goals.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and initiative in the role.
  • Follow documented firm standards and policies to mitigate risk and ensure regulatory, operational, and client compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, Associate's degree, Paralegal certification, or experience in a customer-facing or client service-oriented role.
  • At least two years of business immigration experience (i.e., paralegal).
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and escalate case issues to the supervisor.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to proofread documents, draft fluent prose, and avoid grammatical mistakes without the aid of AI engines.
  • Experience using various computer systems, including MS Word and Excel.
  • Desire to contribute to a positive work environment, effectively collaborate, and promote teamwork.
