About the position
The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst at TD Bank plays a crucial role in providing specialized end-to-end business intelligence support, focusing on visualization and reporting solutions for significant business functions and projects. This position is considered a subject matter expert in BI and reporting, responsible for developing and evolving best-in-class reporting capabilities while delivering ad-hoc projects as needed. The role involves leading Tableau dashboard developments and coordinating engagement across various teams to deliver self-service analytical tools for AMCB leadership.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized end-to-end BI support and solutions for significant business functions and projects.
- Lead and deliver Tableau dashboard developments, coordinating engagement across AMCB D&A, DaaS, and business line clients.
- Produce specialized reporting packages, dashboards, and scorecards for various business objectives.
- Conduct analysis to enhance BI and inform management leadership teams.
- Create complex BI reporting packages and dashboards using data infrastructure and external data sources.
- Validate the quality and integrity of data in reporting packages and dashboards.
- Develop meaningful insights and commentary on reporting packages.
- Adopt and implement report automation and visualization standards.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or advanced technical degree preferred (e.g., math, physics, engineering, finance, or computer science).
- 3+ years of relevant experience in business intelligence and reporting.
- Strong skills in Tableau, SQL, and cloud technologies (Databricks, Synapse).
- Ability to lead cross-functional projects and communicate effectively with internal business clients.
- Self-starter with strong ownership and initiative.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with TD Rahona and relevant subject matter expertise in consumer banking, commercial banking, marketing, and customer analytics.
- Strong design skills for dashboards and the ability to uncover insights from data.
