About the position
The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst plays a crucial role in providing specialized end-to-end BI support, visualization, and solutions for significant business functions and projects. This position is accountable for developing and evolving a best-in-class reporting and BI capability, serving as a subject matter expert in BI and Reporting, and delivering ad-hoc projects as assigned. The role requires advanced knowledge of reporting and BI platforms, tools, and techniques, and involves leading Tableau dashboard developments while coordinating engagement across various teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized reporting packages, dashboards, and scorecards for businesses.
- Lead the implementation of initiatives in support of overall business strategy.
- Conduct analysis to provide enhanced BI to inform management leadership team.
- Create complex BI reporting packages and dashboards utilizing various data sources.
- Validate the quality and integrity of data in reporting packages and dashboards.
- Develop meaningful commentary and insights on reporting packages.
- Work with business partners to understand objectives and develop value-added reporting.
- Adopt and implement report automation and visualization standards.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or advanced technical degree preferred (e.g., math, physics, engineering, finance, or computer science).
- 3+ years of relevant experience in business intelligence and reporting.
- Strong Tableau skills and ability to translate business challenges into dashboards.
- Proficient in SQL and cloud technologies (Databricks, Synapse).
- Ability to lead cross-functional projects and communicate effectively with internal clients.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with TD AMCB subject matter expertise (consumer bank, commercial bank, marketing, digital, customer analytics).
- Strong design skills (both logical and creative).
- Self-starter who takes ownership and initiative.
