About the position

The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst plays a crucial role in providing specialized end-to-end BI support, visualization, and solutions for the Collections & Recovery data and analytics team. This position is responsible for developing and evolving best-in-class reporting and BI capabilities, focusing on creating BI tools for stakeholder consumption, extensive data research, data model engineering, and dashboard development. As a subject matter expert, the analyst will work independently and may provide technical support to others, ensuring the delivery of impactful insights to support business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized reporting packages, dashboards, and scorecards for business needs.
• Conduct extensive data research and data model engineering.
• Develop and maintain BI tools for stakeholder consumption.
• Create complex BI reporting packages and dashboards using various data sources.
• Validate the quality and integrity of data in reporting packages and dashboards.
• Lead the implementation of initiatives supporting overall business strategy.
• Conduct analysis to enhance BI for management leadership.
• Collaborate with business partners to understand objectives and develop value-added reporting.
• Adopt and implement report automation and visualization standards.
• Mentor and share knowledge with team members.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or advanced technical degree preferred (e.g., math, physics, engineering, finance, or computer science).
• 3+ years of relevant experience in Business Intelligence or Analytics.
• Expert knowledge of SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, and Databricks.
• Proven data wrangling, data mining, and data visualization skills.
• Experience in Collections and Recovery line of business is a plus.
