About the position

The position involves leading the development and management of dashboards and reports that provide critical information to managers and executives at Memorial Healthcare System. The role focuses on optimizing clinical, financial, and operational results through effective data analytics and visualization, ensuring data integrity, and supporting decision-making processes across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develops summary and detail level dashboards, maps, reports, analyses, and presentations that represent clinical, operational, and financial data.
  • Manages and submits information to external organizations.
  • Supports end users and organizational leadership in obtaining quantitative and qualitative data analytics, visualizations, and insights.
  • Ensures data integrity by validating data utilized in reports and dashboards for accuracy and completeness.
  • Assesses available data and determines methodologies and solutions to address inclusions/exclusions for insufficient, erroneous, and outlier data.
  • Develops and communicates recommendations on dashboard design/visualizations to optimize effective use of data.
  • Communicates with customers to understand intent of requests and provides status updates.
  • Serves as a resource for training and consultation on dashboard development and utilization.
  • Maintains documentation for all dashboards, scorecard system, and data sources created by the department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or healthcare-related field.
  • Five years of experience in a healthcare setting with experience in finance, business intelligence, or clinical systems.
  • Experience with SQL or other database/analytics software is required.
  • Expertise with BI tools such as Tableau to create models, dashboards, or other analytics is preferred.
