About the position

The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst at Cosm is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's Business Intelligence systems and reporting tools. This role involves collaborating with leadership and end-users to create advanced data insights and business intelligence solutions that are accessible, scalable, and secure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data visualization and analysis, with excellent communication skills and experience in the media or technology industries.

Responsibilities

• Work with data architects, developers, and business stakeholders to design, develop, and deliver high standard Business Intelligence (BI) solutions.
• Create functional design documents and solutions based on business requirements.
• Analyze product performance, identify key metrics, and build analytical reports and dashboards.
• Conduct deeper behavioral analyses of Cosm users and in-app engagement, developing bespoke customer insights and presenting findings to key stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of demonstrated expertise in developing story-driven dashboards and analytics.
• At least 3 years of specific Tableau dashboard development experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to distill complex data into meaningful visualizations.
• Proficiency in translating complex business requirements into clear technical specifications.
• Proficiency with SQL and other programming languages commonly used in data analysis.
• Advanced development skills in Tableau, with a deep understanding of advanced calculations and functions.
• Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong experience with cloud-based data warehousing solutions such as AWS, Databricks, Big Query, and Snowflake.
• Experience with ETL tools and processes.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the entertainment or media industry is a plus.
• Familiarity with Sprint process and successful completion of tasks end-to-end.
