About the position

The position involves working collaboratively on small to medium projects within a digital banking and payments company. The role focuses on analytical tasks, including the development of datasets, dashboards, and reports, while managing risks and customer-impacting issues. The candidate will be responsible for performance reporting and analysis, communicating technical results, and troubleshooting issues in dashboards and reports.

Responsibilities

• Develop analysis, dashboards, reports, and data sets including performance reporting and evaluation of initiatives/campaigns.
• Report on metrics to evaluate the performance of machine learning solutions.
• Work with managers to understand business needs and timelines.
• Communicate highly technical results and methods clearly.
• Perform user acceptance testing for projects.
• Troubleshoot issues within dashboards and reports.
• Handle escalated issues through to resolution.
• Identify data discrepancies and collaborate with managers and partners to resolve issues.
• Utilize programming languages and analytical tools for ad hoc analysis.
• Translate machine learning algorithms into code when necessary.
• Attend trainings to maintain and enhance technical skillsets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, or a related field.
• 4+ years in Data Analytics and Query Design in a quantitatively driven industry or related experience.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience developing optimized, complex SQL queries across large volumes of data in relational and multi-dimensional data sources such as Teradata, Hadoop, Amazon Redshift, or Hyperion Essbase.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience utilizing Business Intelligence Tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlikview to develop interactive and visually impactful dashboards.

Nice-to-haves

• 6+ years in Data Analytics and Query Design in a quantitatively driven industry or related experience.
