The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst serves as a vital business partner within the Finance Department, tasked with designing, developing, and implementing advanced analytics tools and data solutions. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of business data needs, where the analyst will gather requirements, analyze data, and manage robust enterprise-level Business Intelligence (BI) solutions for complex projects. The position emphasizes self-service analytics and the extraction of actionable insights from data in a timely manner, all while adhering to high standards and best practices in a fast-paced organizational environment. In this role, the Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for supporting various projects and change management initiatives across key project owners, including IT, Finance, Operations, Human Resources, and Marketing. The analyst will identify, research, and resolve complex business problems, applying analytical techniques to develop solutions that drive outcomes in Sales, Finance, and Operations. They will also design, implement, and maintain complex BI solutions, including data models in Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), Excel Power Pivot, and Power BI, while creating and maintaining reporting tools and troubleshooting improvement opportunities. The analyst will define relevant data points, manage data extraction, transformation, calculations, and visualizations, and support the Finance organization in building the necessary roles, skills, processes, and collaboration with other teams to enhance BI solution delivery speed, accuracy, and insightfulness. They will facilitate conversations to integrate third-party data to drive key metrics and share knowledge related to finance, operations, business intelligence, and data tools. Additionally, the analyst will help manage financial tools, reporting, and data analytics systems, ensuring governance, security, consistency, integrity, and accuracy of all end-user data. Participation in system maintenance, user support, upgrade activities, and integrations is also a key aspect of this role.
