About the position

The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst at IGT is responsible for providing business intelligence reporting solutions using SAP HANA and various front-end reporting tools such as Tableau and PowerBI. This role involves leading the deployment and maintenance of Tableau Server environments, optimizing data extraction and transformation processes, and collaborating with business stakeholders to deliver effective visualizations and reporting solutions. The position is integral to enhancing employee productivity and driving business efficiency within IGT's global operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide BI reporting solutions using SAP HANA and SAP BW on HANA with front-end tools like Tableau, PowerBI, and SAP BusinessObjects.
• Lead the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Tableau Server environments.
• Oversee Tableau Server performance, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and capacity planning.
• Manage user access, permissions, and object-level security within Tableau.
• Develop and enforce best practices in Tableau data connections and publishing workflows.
• Provide guidance and training for Tableau users.
• Interface with developers and business analysts to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define and validate data requirements.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes and data flows for data extraction and loading.
• Optimize data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• Create and manage data transformations to support business reporting needs.
• Develop and maintain complex queries and data extraction logic.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in business analysis and reporting in an ERP environment.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server administration.
• Knowledge of Microsoft PowerBI and SAP HANA Database connector.
• SQL Server development skills including views, queries, and stored procedures.
• Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and data governance principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with business users and IT teams.
• Strong project management skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with SAP Data Services or other ETL tools.
• Proven track record of delivering solutions on SAP BW on HANA and Native HANA.
• Strong background in financial reporting and understanding of accounting principles.
