The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst at Northwest Bank will play a pivotal role in collaborating with the Credit Administration, Credit Risk, and Model Development teams to understand their business objectives and translate these into actionable requirements and solution designs. This position is focused on driving business value and achieving positive outcomes through the development of analytical tools and models that are essential for credit risk management. The analyst will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and control of various analytical tools, including portfolio stress testing and Current Expected Credit Losses (CECL) accounting, which are critical for the Allowance for Credit Loss and concentration correlation analyses. In this role, the incumbent will take on lead analyst responsibilities in Business Intelligence projects, which includes defining requirements, documenting processes, and creating reports and queries to support the Credit Administration team. The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will act as a liaison among stakeholders and project teams, enhancing the performance of the Data team by ensuring that business needs are met effectively. This involves interviewing stakeholders to gather insights into their needs, analyzing business processes for potential improvements, and recommending changes that can lead to better outcomes. The analyst will also be tasked with building and maintaining documentation libraries to ensure that all necessary documentation is readily available for management, regulators, and auditors. Monitoring the data environment, including builds, executions, and change implementations, is another critical aspect of this role. The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will develop quantitative models beyond CECL, such as loss forecasting and predictive risk rating models, and will lead the development of predictive analytical tools and visual reporting. Additionally, the analyst will ensure data quality by validating data and directing remediation efforts for any identified issues. Following Data Governance procedures is essential to manage data and data processes appropriately. The role requires a strong understanding of enterprise data management, including working with data warehouses and analytical cubes to provide insights for decision-making. The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will also troubleshoot and resolve data issues as they arise, ensuring compliance with Northwest Bank's policies and federal/state regulations.
