About the position

The Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Developer role focuses on developing, testing, and enhancing the Power BI platform while supporting associated workflows. This position requires a strong background in BI tools, particularly Power BI and Tableau, and involves creating reports and dashboards for data visualization and analytics, specifically for PGIM Fixed Income.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and enhance the Power BI platform and support associated workflows.
• Create reports and dashboards for PGIM Fixed Income, focusing on data visualization and analytics.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Power BI development, including hands-on dashboard creation.
• Proficiency in SQL for writing, optimizing, and interpreting queries.
• Strong Python development skills, especially for backend engineering focused on API-driven solutions specific to BI; familiarity with data transformation and Pyspark is also necessary.
• Experience with Tableau in addition to Power BI.

Nice-to-haves

• Background in financial services.
• Knowledge of the Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, etc.)
