About the position

The Senior Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for designing, creating, and managing business intelligence (BI) and analytics solutions that transform data into actionable insights. This role requires a strong background in data analysis, Agile methodologies, and project management, along with excellent communication skills. The developer will work extensively with SQL and Python to support database infrastructure and complex analytic processing, ultimately enhancing the organization's BI capabilities to facilitate informed decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Design, create, and manage BI and analytics solutions.
• Develop advanced SQL and Python procedures to support database infrastructure.
• Provide data interfaces with external databases and manage report production.
• Assess business needs for new programming functionality.
• Enhance business intelligence capabilities to support informed decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• 8 years of experience in programming using SQL.
• 4 years of experience using data visualization software such as Tableau, Power BI, or SSRS.
• Proven experience with database management and statistical representation of data.
• Background in data warehouse design and data mining.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's Degree in a related field.
• 4 years of experience programming using Python.
• 8 years of experience with SQL or Snowflake and SSIS.
• Background in data mining and data modeling.
• Experience in healthcare or health insurance.
• Familiarity with Facets and Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
