About the position

The Senior Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for designing, creating, and managing business intelligence (BI) and analytics solutions that transform data into actionable insights. This role requires a strong background in data analysis, Agile methodologies, and project management, along with excellent communication skills. The BI Developer will develop advanced SQL and Python procedures to support the database infrastructure necessary for complex analytic processing, ensuring effective data interfaces and report production. Ultimately, this position aims to enhance the organization's BI capabilities to facilitate informed decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage BI and analytics solutions.
• Develop advanced SQL and Python procedures for database infrastructure.
• Assess business needs for new programming functionality.
• Create data interfaces with external databases.
• Produce reports based on complex analytic processing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Healthcare Administration.
• 8 years of experience in programming using SQL.
• 4 years of experience using data visualization software such as Tableau, Power BI, or SSRS.
• Proven experience with database management and statistical representation of data.
• Background in data warehouse design and data mining.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's Degree in a related field.
• 4 years of experience in programming using Python.
• 8 years of experience in programming using SQL or Snowflake and SSIS.
• Healthcare or Health Insurance experience.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and Agile methodologies.
