The Senior Business Intelligence Developer will work in an exciting, fast-paced, dynamic business environment focused on the growth of our business and internal customer satisfaction. The candidate will work closely with line of business teams, other developers, and analysts to deliver on projects and initiatives required for the Bank's ongoing business operations, customer opportunities, and revenue generation. The candidate will work extensively with Microsoft technologies and will possess significant experience as a developer in financial services. The preferred candidate will work independently and in teams analyzing, designing, and developing business intelligence solutions using coding standards and best practices in close partnership with business teams, architecture, and IT leaders; as well as mentoring junior staff by providing guidance and design consultation. Essential Functions include adhering to FDIC and FRB data regulatory guidelines for SDLC, designing, developing, testing, and deploying ETL solutions, reports, etc., which meet defined requirements using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Power BI, Python, ADF, T-SQL, and other languages and tools. Importing data from 3rd party sources to improve the Bank's ability to market, control, and enhance client and/or banker experience is crucial, ensuring that data imports align with approved data architectures and standards. The role also involves contributing to requirements refinement, analysis, and design for all-sized projects, improving the data environment for business partners, and adhering to best practice development, testing, deployment, and operations policies. The candidate will work with DBAs to determine how to meet service level agreements and assist in defining SLAs, while also maintaining awareness of current data technology trends and recommending enhancements that will improve the data environment. Writing technical specifications for data integrations and solutions, creating and maintaining design and data flow diagrams, and ensuring compliance with Northwest's policies and procedures, as well as Federal/State regulations, are also key responsibilities. The role requires navigating Microsoft Office Software and other department-specific applications to maximize technology tools and gain efficiency, working as part of a team, and maintaining expertise in current technology stacks to recommend changes that can positively impact the enterprise.
