About the position

The Senior Business Operations Manager, Product at Patreon plays a crucial role in supporting the VP of Product by driving strategic initiatives, managing project operations, and facilitating communication across the organization. This position focuses on enhancing product direction, strategic planning, and performance analysis to improve business outcomes and operational efficiencies. The role is hybrid, requiring in-office presence two days a week in either New York or San Francisco.

Responsibilities

  • Represent and drive strategic, functional, and business updates for Product.
  • Support product operational rhythm, organizing annual planning rhythms, quarterly planning, and sprint outcomes.
  • Distill and scale understanding of the product roadmap across the organization.
  • Maintain reviews and meetings with Engineering, Design, and Product leadership, including building agendas, capturing key insights, and tracking action items to completion.
  • Drive and support accountability initiatives across the organization.
  • Communicate discoveries, progress, and results from initiatives to management and/or the broader organization.
  • Distill the vision, progress, and execution of the product vision within the product team and to the rest of the company for deep understanding.
  • Support the VP of Product with insightful data-driven analysis, providing meaningful support through all facets of the product org's operations.
  • Represent cross-functional knowledge to help provide meaningful insights to drive product strategy forward and increase alignment across the organization.

Requirements

  • Strong sense of strategy driven by a deep understanding of business with previous product experience supporting strategy and execution of product vision.
  • Analytical with attention to detail, able to dig through data and insights to decipher meaningful information to drive business forward.
  • Cross-functional and facilitation capabilities, driving alignment with large groups with multiple priorities.
  • Experience within a strategy, operations, or consultative function to drive business strategies forward.
  • Previously managed cross-functional programs and portfolios, with high amounts of ambiguity and complexity.
