About the position

The Senior Business Operations Manager for Real Estate and Property Management at the University of Texas at San Antonio is responsible for overseeing the fiscal and administrative operations of an executive office and its associated departments. Responsibilities

  • Plan, administer, and manage complex business and clerical activities for the area.
  • Identify and implement new or revised departmental and unit operational policies and procedures.
  • Recruit, hire, evaluate, train, and supervise administrative and operations support staff.
  • Manage and coordinate daily staff activities and resolve routine issues.
  • Develop and contribute to the development of communications.
  • Participate in the development, preparation, and submission of strategic and operational planning documents, reports, and surveys.
  • Identify appropriate internal controls and develop mechanisms to monitor and enforce compliance.
  • Oversee the maintenance of administrative records and recommend process improvements.
  • Advise executives and directors on personnel matters and UTSA/UT System policies and procedures.
  • Ensure departmental adherence to operational plans and compliance with laws and policies.
  • Attend meetings and serve on committees.
  • Collect and analyze client feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Four years of progressively responsible financial and business managerial experience in a complex office environment, including a minimum of two years of supervisory experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with standard office equipment.

Benefits

  • Salary up to $80,000 annualized, commensurate with education, experience, and qualifications.
  • Full-time position with up to 40 hours per week, exempt status.
