About the position

The Senior Program Manager at Zillow's ShowingTime+ (ST+) business will play a pivotal role in driving key initiatives that enhance the company's offerings in the real estate technology space. This position is designed for a strategic and forward-thinking individual who possesses a deep understanding of Six Sigma principles and Continuous Improvement methodologies. The Senior Program Manager will report directly to the Director of ST+ Business Operations and will be responsible for defining and executing cross-functional processes that align with ST+ initiatives. This role requires the ability to write clear and concise documents that effectively communicate insights and lead to actionable outcomes for executive stakeholders. In this capacity, the Senior Program Manager will drive the adoption of ST+ key business lines, ensuring that the products reach a wider audience and provide value to end users. The role involves creating processes where none exist, improving existing processes, and ensuring that all processes are well-controlled. A significant aspect of the job will be diving into data to identify problems and solutions that optimize business operations. The Senior Program Manager will also perform data analysis and validation to create and maintain recurring business and operational reports, dashboards, and handle ad hoc projects as needed. This position is categorized as remote, allowing employees to work from a location of their choice within the U.S., with specific exceptions for certain states. The compensation for this role includes a competitive base salary, equity awards, and is reflective of the candidate's experience, performance, and location. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, operational experience, and the ability to communicate effectively across various teams, including Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success. Responsibilities

  • Define and drive cross-functional processes to execute on key ST+ initiatives.
  • Write clear and concise documents that share insights leading to action for executive stakeholders.
  • Drive adoption of ST+ key business lines to help more end users with products.
  • Create processes where none exist and improve existing processes to ensure they are within control.
  • Dive into data to identify problems and solutions that help optimize the business.
  • Perform data analysis and validation for the creation and ongoing curation of recurring business and operational reports, dashboards, and ad hoc projects.

Requirements

  • 5 to 8+ years of experience in product or program management in the software industry.
  • Bachelor's degree or greater.
  • Experience leading or influencing programs that leverage Queuing Theory, Six Sigma Principles, or Continuous Improvement.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with business and technical teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile, and collaborative cross-team environment.
  • Highly analytical approach with experience enabling rapid and high-quality decision making in a fast-paced environment.
  • PMP or similar certification or 10+ years of demonstrated program management experience.
