About the position

As a Senior Business Operations Specialist at Capital Group, you will play a pivotal role in collaborating with senior business leaders and key stakeholders to facilitate essential components of the annual business planning process. This position primarily focuses on the Wealth Management Client Group, while also extending support to other business areas within NACG. Your responsibilities will include working closely with business partners in Business Analysis and Insights & Analytics to draft and manage recurring Wealth Management reporting packages, ensuring the timely delivery of business results aligned with Wealth Management priorities. In this role, you will also lead business communication and associate engagement initiatives across NACG. This includes coordinating and executing town halls, as well as supporting resource management activities such as space planning and vendor management in a consistent and scalable manner across various NACG business units. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to provide project management and business support for initiatives aimed at optimizing business processes and operations across NACG. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring that the business operates efficiently and effectively, and you will be expected to leverage your analytical mindset to inform decisions and measure success. Responsibilities

  • Draft and facilitate key components of the annual business planning process for Wealth Management Client Group and other business areas in NACG.
  • Manage recurring Wealth Management reporting packages and coordinate timely delivery of business results against Wealth Management priorities.
  • Lead business communication and associate engagement initiatives across NACG, including coordinating and executing town halls.
  • Support resource management activities such as space planning and vendor management across NACG business units.
  • Provide project management and business support for initiatives aimed at optimizing business processes and operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other relevant graduate degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in a related field.
  • Experience in Financial Services/Asset Management industry preferred.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across senior leadership and cross-functional teams towards common goals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to inform decisions and measure success.
  • Experience drafting and managing business updates for different audiences and levels of management.
  • Experience identifying key performance indicators (KPI) and using them to measure progress of initiatives and overall business.
  • Demonstrated ability to write clearly, succinctly, and synthesize large amounts of information into insightful/actionable takeaways.
  • Ability to problem solve and develop clear and comprehensive recommendations on matters of strategy and execution.
