About the position
The Senior Business Process Analyst at Lactalis American Group Inc. plays a crucial role in the LUSA Transformation Management Office, focusing on analyzing and optimizing business processes. This position involves applying Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) practices to identify inefficiencies and facilitate improvements, ensuring that BPM governance strategies are adhered to. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to gather insights and translate business requirements into actionable specifications, ultimately driving process optimization and supporting the implementation of new systems.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate user business problems and develop system recommendations to meet requirements.
- Conduct detailed analysis of existing business processes using tools for process mapping, flowcharts, and process modeling.
- Facilitate and capture process requirements during modeling and design sessions, translating them into actionable requirements and working process diagrams.
- Design new processes or modify existing ones to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and adaptability.
- Work closely with various stakeholders to gather requirements and insights.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to discuss process changes and gather feedback.
- Translate high-level business requirements into functional specifications for business application development.
- Document business processes, requirements, and specifications in detail, creating comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date process documentation for reference and compliance purposes.
- Conduct gap analysis to identify and articulate gaps between business processes and SAP baseline configuration.
- Support the implementation of new processes by providing guidance, training, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure successful integration of new processes and systems.
- Drive process optimization, recommend changes, and evaluate change requests from the business.
- Define data requirements and support data collection for business operations and processes.
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Work with Data Engineer, Master Data Analysts, and Business Process Owners on data cleansing and mapping.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and at least 4+ years' experience in an analytical role in finance, accounting, supply chain management, procurement, or business management.
- Strong business analysis background.
- Experience developing process maps, use cases, business justifications, and business rules is essential.
- Business Analytics, Business Process Mapping, and documentation experience required.
- SAP implementation experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma process improvement tools and techniques.
- Ability to travel 50% domestically.
