About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business Product Analyst - Performance and Talent Management to join the Talent Management and Learning product team. This role is crucial in developing and supporting tools that advance the organization's commitment to building a diverse workforce where employees can thrive in their careers. The Senior Business Execution Consultant will be responsible for delivering integrated performance and talent management technology solutions, ensuring alignment with Human Resources (HR) Product and Portfolio Management standards and best practices. The ideal candidate will possess Workday experience and demonstrate effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, along with a solid understanding of the project tasks necessary for delivering efficient and elegant solutions. In this position, you will work closely with business partners to evaluate business requirements, plan initiatives, and engage in efficient development, delivery, and deployment activities. Leveraging your product expertise and industry knowledge, you will identify what holds real value for the business. You will lead the planning, support, and execution of configuration and testing activities, ensuring that cross-functional dependencies are understood, managed, and addressed to execute initiatives with quality and timeliness. Additionally, you will manage multiple stakeholder groups, including global business teams, risk management, compliance, legal, and data privacy stakeholders. Your responsibilities will also include assisting in decomposing epics into effective user stories, maintaining task status in JIRA or similar Agile management tools, and producing effective documentation to capture and communicate business processes and requirements. This documentation will include business process flow diagrams, data flow diagrams, data definition documents, decision trees, logic diagrams, requirements documents, and user experience flows.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate business requirements and plan initiatives with business partners.
  • Participate in efficient development, delivery, and deployment activities.
  • Lead the planning, support, and execution of configuration and testing activities.
  • Manage cross-functional dependencies to ensure quality and timely execution of initiatives.
  • Manage multiple stakeholder groups including global business teams and compliance stakeholders.
  • Assist in decomposing epics into effective user stories.
  • Maintain task status in JIRA or similar Agile management tool.
  • Produce effective documentation to capture and communicate business processes and requirements.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • Deep knowledge of Performance and Talent Management business functions and products.
  • 4+ years of HR product/systems experience supporting Performance & Talent Management functions using Workday is strongly preferred.
  • Experience operating in an Agile environment and/or strong knowledge of Agile practices.
  • Experience interpreting business and technical needs and translating them into user stories.
  • Experience leading and facilitating workshops and discussions to meet client objectives and desired outcomes.
  • Ability to operate as part of cross-functional work streams to execute projects with quality and on-time.
  • Knowledge of HR business processes.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.
