About the position

Sephora is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our Tech team as a Senior Business Systems Analyst specializing in integration and CPI technical resources. In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating with your business unit to enhance processes and efficiency, particularly through the implementation of integration for the SuccessFactors HR landscape. This position offers considerable responsibility and interaction with key stakeholders from both the business and Tech sectors. Excellent communication and organizational skills, along with a strong resolve and capability to meet aggressive schedules, are essential for success in this role. As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will analyze complex business problems that can be solved with automated systems. You will partner with business teams to evaluate and articulate technical requirements, identifying the impact, risk, and benefits of alternative solutions. Your technical expertise will be crucial in identifying, evaluating, designing, and developing systems and processes that are cost-effective and meet user requirements. You will become a process and subject matter expert, configuring system settings primarily with SAP SuccessFactors, planning and executing unit, integration, and acceptance testing, and creating specifications to meet business requirements. Additionally, you will create test metrics and plans, identify regression tests, and collaborate with QA for system, integration, and regression tests. Providing third-level post-implementation support to business users with a strong client service focus will also be part of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex business problems to be solved with automated systems.

  • Configure system settings (primarily with SAP SuccessFactors) and options; plan and execute unit, integration, and acceptance testing; and create specifications for systems to meet business requirements.
  • Create test metrics, test plans, identify regression tests and partner with QA for system, integration, and regression tests.
  • Provide 3rd level post-implementation support to business users with a strong client service.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst in the HR domain.
  • Must have integration knowledge with SAP SuccessFactors, especially with the modules of Employee Central, Recruiting, and Onboarding.
  • Extensive proficiency in SAP CPI, integration suite, SOAP, REST, SFTP, OData, SFAPI, XML, Groovy Script.
  • Collaborative work with business stakeholders to develop and validate integrations between Employee Central (EC) and various downstream systems.
  • Understanding of OData APIs and compound data API, with the capability to manage multiple tasks and engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience developing apps in Integration center.
  • Capability to formulate data mapping rules and execute data transformations for seamless interoperability.
  • Strong skills in implementing error handling mechanisms and establishing monitoring protocols.
  • Extensive experience interpreting user needs and writing functional specifications for new systems, systems changes, and/or system enhancements.
  • High aptitude for interpreting technical documentation as well as authoring or updating documents including help desk run books and training documentation.
  • Ability to self-manage multiple projects within tight timeframes and dynamic priorities.
  • Demonstrates ability to effectively work both independently and within cross-functional project teams.
