About the position

The Senior Business Systems Analyst - Order to Revenue at EverCommerce plays a critical role in the Finance Systems team, focusing on the Order to Cash and Revenue Value Stream. This position involves overseeing the operations and integrations of the Order to Revenue architecture, including Zuora Billing and Zuora Revenue, while collaborating with various teams to ensure accurate billing and revenue recognition. The analyst will be responsible for gathering requirements, building solutions, and conducting system testing, all while maintaining internal control standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and define solutions for Zuora's Billing and Revenue Recognition systems.
• Analyze complex financial data and support the optimization of billing and revenue processes for compliance and efficiency.
• Gather and document business requirements for Zuora RevPro and Billing implementations.
• Identify gaps and improvement opportunities in current billing and revenue recognition processes.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, including process flows, user stories, and data mappings.
• Lead the configuration of Zuora Billing and RevPro to meet business requirements.
• Provide in-depth functional knowledge of Zuora Billing and RevPro, including compliance with ASC 606 and IFRS 15.
• Develop integrations and automations through systems like Workato.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in relevant roles.
• 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Techno Functional Consultant in billing and revenue recognition systems.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Zuora Billing and Zuora RevPro.
• Strong background in subscription billing, revenue recognition, and financial systems, including compliance requirements.
• Strong knowledge of Zuora Billing, including subscription management, invoicing, collections, and payment processing.
• Deep understanding of Zuora RevPro with practical experience in revenue recognition and compliance standards (ASC 606/IFRS 15).
• Knowledge of integrating Zuora with other boundary systems (e.g., Salesforce CRM, Netsuite ERP).
• Proficiency in business process modeling and tools like Lucid Chart, JIRA, Asana, or similar platforms.
• Experience with Salesforce CRM and NetSuite GL is a plus.
• Knowledge of data warehousing and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex business processes into technical requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
