About the position
As a Senior Business Systems Analyst at Datadog, you will serve as the subject matter expert for SaaS solutions, ensuring consistency, quality, and availability across systems teams. Your role will involve optimizing current investments, participating in the procurement process, and identifying opportunities to enhance the SaaS portfolio with value-adding services, including GenAI/LLM products. You will work in a hybrid environment that promotes work-life harmony while fostering collaboration and creativity within the office culture.
Responsibilities
- Support the deployment, administration, and integration of SaaS across all of Datadog, ensuring governance and compliance with organizational policies.
- Review system configurations, data integrity, and business processes, making recommendations to stakeholders on ways to optimize systems and improve workflows.
- Participate in the selection and implementation of SaaS vendors to ensure technology solutions are cost-effective, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.
- Assess and optimize spending on SaaS platforms, implementing strategies to maximize efficiency and reduce costs without compromising on quality or capability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the company to identify requirements, gaps, and opportunities within the SaaS portfolio.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in SaaS applications and emerging technologies, including GenAI and LLM, to continuously improve and innovate Datadog's SaaS portfolio.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of SaaS products, their implementation, and management.
- Familiarity with security, privacy, and compliance standards (e.g., SOX, GDPR, SOC, ISO).
- Prior experience in a technical role within an IT or Engineering department.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
- Experience in managing projects, particularly those involving multiple stakeholders and complex integrations.
