About the position
The Senior C#.NET/MSSQL Developer is responsible for full-stack software development, focusing on creating high-performance payments processing applications using the .NET/MS-SQL technology stack and serverless architecture. This role involves collaboration with IT management and development teams to design, develop, and maintain the company's payments processing platform while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Work with the IT Manager and Team Lead to design, develop, and maintain the company’s payments processing platform.
- Participate in continuous learning to adapt to new technologies and processes, making recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborate with business and development teams to gather and refine technical requirements on assigned projects.
- Mitigate project risks and escalate potential blockers to stakeholders.
- Research and provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions.
- Provide proof of concept via rapid prototyping.
- Document and monitor requirements needed for proposed updates.
- Ensure system architectures align with organizational goals and objectives.
- Recommend process changes to improve implementation, maintenance, and support of applications.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Exceptional observation and listening skills.
- Broad knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Ability to write technical documents.
- 5+ years of C#.NET and MSSQL experience.
- Experience building microservices running in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (AWS preferred).
- Experience writing complex SQL scripts and stored procedures (MS SQL or PostgreSQL preferred).
- Experience with building containerized applications (Docker or Kubernetes).
- Experience writing unit tests and regression testing.
- Experience building RESTful APIs.
- Experience with Open API specifications.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Node.js or Python is a plus.
