Responsibilities

  • Drive REI Systems' growth by identifying and securing high-value federal IT contracts.
  • Leverage REI's past performance with key federal agencies like GSA, HHS, DHS, and NASA.
  • Utilize contract vehicles such as GSA Alliant 2 GWAC, CIO SP3 Small Business, and 8(a) STARS III.
  • Focus on capturing contracts worth over $50 million.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and develop capture strategies.
  • Maintain strong relationships with federal agencies to align with their requirements and influence contract decisions.
  • Manage capture strategies and oversee pursuit efforts for high-value contracts.
  • Engage with key stakeholders and implement best practices for capture processes.
  • Mentor the capture team and ensure proposals meet customer needs.
  • Communicate with leadership to ensure alignment with REI Systems' long-term business growth objectives.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of IT Federal civilian government contracting experience, particularly with agencies like the Department of Treasury, Department of Commerce, USPTO, IRS, FDIC, Census, DoD, DHS, HHS etc.
  • 8 years of experience as a Capture Manager.
  • Proven success in capturing Federal civilian market opportunities valued at over $50 million.

  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Team leadership and project management experience.
  • Deep relationships within the Federal government and contracting community.
  • Experience in organizational process improvement and process design.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM systems and MS Office suite.
  • Knowledge of Agile business process management and improvement strategies.
