About the position

The Senior Change Manager for GenAI at AIG is a pivotal leadership role focused on driving change initiatives related to Generative AI within the organization. This position is responsible for ensuring that change management processes are effectively implemented, leading to successful outcomes that align with the company's strategic goals. The role requires a deep understanding of business change needs, the ability to create and execute change plans, and the capacity to foster a culture of innovation and adaptability among employees.

Responsibilities

  • Drive change initiatives related to GenAI usage across the organization.
  • Provide leadership and functional expertise to navigate complex business changes.
  • Ensure all aspects of change management from initiation to business embeddedness are successfully delivered.
  • Lead cultural change within the organization to adopt new working practices and technologies.
  • Evaluate business change needs and create plans and roadmaps for delivery.
  • Manage and deliver change initiatives once in-flight, ensuring timely execution.
  • Conduct change impact analysis through interviews, surveys, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Plan and coordinate communications regarding change delivery activities.
  • Design and deliver engagement activities to keep the business informed and engaged.
  • Define and coordinate training efforts to support change adoption.
  • Evaluate end-user readiness for change adoption through assessments.
  • Support business embeddedness post-execution and address user access issues.
  • Identify and escalate change plan risks, issues, and dependencies, developing mitigating strategies.
  • Develop a detailed business change and readiness plan aligned with initiative delivery timelines.
  • Support the development of tools and templates for structured change management.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of Change Management experience in leading initiatives through consultancy, business operations, or program management.
  • 5+ years of experience in insurance, financial services, consulting, or similar industries.
  • Proven experience leading execution of Change Management activities in complex environments.
  • Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Strong communication skills in written, presentation, and oral forms.
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to empathize with stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the insurance industry.
  • Expertise in delivering change in large global organizations.
  • Mastery of how change affects people, processes, and technology.
  • Ability to influence others and champion change adoption.
