As a Senior Channel Applications Engineer at ABB, you will play a pivotal role in the design authority for engineering projects related to Motion Drive Products in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Your primary focus will be on enhancing customer satisfaction through excellent service and technical recommendations. This position requires a deep understanding of ABB's Low Voltage (LV) drive and PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) / HMI (Human Machine Interface) products, as well as their applications in various industrial processes and systems. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical sales execution to the channel team, channel partners, technical support, product engineering, and end customers. Your expertise will be crucial in addressing application issues related to LV drives and PLC/HMI products. You will prioritize, schedule, and delegate work assignments to ensure timely and accurate support, while also designing and recommending tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of customers. Your ability to negotiate deviations and identify new functional solutions will be essential in contributing to specifications and addressing current business challenges. You will also be expected to create detailed technical reports on product issues, manage customer relationships during the correction process, and interface with OEM Application Engineers to collaborate on relevant systems and solutions.
