About the position

The Senior Chemical Engineer position is a pivotal role focused on research and development of innovative chemical processes. The engineer will design and optimize mixing technologies for various industrial applications, including energetics, pharmaceuticals, and energy storage. This role involves working on advanced projects from bench scale to full production, utilizing cutting-edge acoustic mixing technology.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned projects from inception through completion, ensuring product and process development objectives are met.
• Conduct research and apply advanced chemical engineering principles to solve complex challenges.
• Design and optimize chemical processes, including mixing, mass transport, heat transfer, scaling, process control, and process optimization.
• Develop protocols, research reports, and grant proposals, presenting findings to teams, clients, investors, and collaborators.
• Tackle product and process issues through technical investigations, while advancing new product commercialization.
• Utilize knowledge of various mixing designs (solid-solid, liquid-solid, liquid-liquid) and fundamentals for conventional mixing processes.
• Travel internationally as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering (Advanced degree preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in chemical engineering, with a background in product or process development.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced, technically challenging environment.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
