Senior Civil Engineer (10+ years)

About the position

At Coffman Engineers, we serve as both prime consultant and sub consultant on projects large and small, including commercial, retail, institutional, government, industrial, and project/construction management. Incorporated in 1979, we have employees in more than 20 locations serving clients across the United States and overseas. Coffman Engineers is seeking a highly-skilled, outgoing, self-motivated Senior Civil Engineer with at least 10 years of experience to expand the growing Seattle office's civil engineering department. The successful individual will be assisting our business development team and other discipline leads in developing technical proposals, and take a proactive lead role in marketing commercial, institutional, and industrial clients. You will have the opportunity to help build, manage, and mentor a strong team of civil engineering professionals within a collaborative multi-discipline office.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Washington Civil Engineer (P.E.) registration required.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience.
• Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills.
• Strong project management skills.
• Client management skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience collaborating with local architectural/engineering community.
• Experience in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Microsoft office and other software.
• Experience designing public utilities.
• Experience serving as a prime consultant.
