About the position

As a Senior Civil Engineer on our Data Center Civil Team, you will be a vital part of Olsson's largest and most complex projects. This role involves serving as a project manager on certain projects while taking on the role of lead design engineer on others. Your responsibilities will include preparing planning and design documents, conducting process design calculations, and developing and maintaining team and client standards. You may also lead quality assurance and quality control efforts and act as an advisor on complex projects. Coordination with other Olsson teams, professional staff, technical staff, clients, and other consultants will be essential to ensure project success. In this position, you may be required to travel to job sites for observation and to attend client meetings. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering.
  • At least 8 years of related civil engineering experience.
  • Proficient in Civil 3D software.
  • Must be a registered professional engineer.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
