About the position

EMH&T is seeking a Senior Transportation Engineer, PE to lead and contribute to various transportation projects, ensuring innovative and sustainable solutions for critical infrastructure. The role involves collaboration with a team of professionals, project management from concept to construction, client interaction, and mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to transportation projects from concept development to design and construction.
• Collaborate with a team to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions for roadways and transportation infrastructure.
• Provide estimations of costs, personnel, and materials needed for projects.
• Assist in establishing completion dates and preparing proposals.
• Review invoicing content to capture all work performed for clients.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff.
• Maintain and foster relationships with clients and stay updated on emerging trends in transportation engineering.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Transportation Engineering required.
• Licensed in Ohio.
• 8-10 years of work experience in the Civil Engineering Industry required.
• Familiarity with CAD and design software, including MicroStation and GEOPAK/OpenRoads Designer (ORD).
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to express ideas clearly.
