About the position

This position involves the project management, planning, design, and construction engineering for various civil projects including sanitary sewer, stormwater, water distribution, water resources, pump stations, and transportation projects. We are seeking a talented individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills who would enjoy working on a variety of projects for municipal and some industrial clients throughout the Midwest. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be leading and executing civil projects across the Midwest, collaborating with management, marketing, and other disciplines across all offices. You will work directly with existing clients and develop new clients through targeted marketing efforts. In addition, you will provide a key role as a mentor and advisor to Donohue civil engineering staff of all experience levels. Donohue is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Responsibilities

• Project management for civil engineering projects.
• Planning and design of sanitary sewer, stormwater, and water distribution systems.
• Construction engineering for various civil projects.
• Collaborating with management and marketing teams across all offices.
• Working directly with existing clients and developing new client relationships.
• Mentoring and advising civil engineering staff of all experience levels.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience in civil engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
