About the position

As a Senior or Principal Civil Engineer at Stantec, you will play a pivotal role in addressing some of the most pressing challenges faced by the UK water industry. Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of water projects that address sustainability and environmental challenges.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Mentor and support the development of junior civil engineers within the team.
  • Manage project lifecycles from conception through to delivery, ensuring quality and compliance with regulations.
  • Engage with stakeholders and partners to foster strong collaborative relationships.

Requirements

  • Hold a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Working towards or holding Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status with a relevant body such as ICE or CIWEM.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering successful projects in the water sector.
  • Strong leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and developing others.
  • Proven ability to engage with clients and build strong relationships.
