Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage civil engineering projects from conception to completion.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.
  • Prepare and review engineering designs, plans, and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding construction permits and environmental standards.
  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for various projects.
  • Oversee the preparation of project documentation and reports.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff.
  • Manage project budgets and timelines to ensure successful delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is required.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in civil engineering and site design.
  • Proven expertise in construction permits, sediment control, and water/wastewater management.
  • Strong time-management, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SWMM, HEC/RAS, and Civil 3D; familiarity with MicroStation is a plus.
  • Experience with roadways, site grading, utilities, lift stations, and stormwater management.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of sustainable engineering practices.
  • Familiarity with project management software.
