KS Engineers, P.C. (KSE) is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Philadelphia office located in the Old City Neighborhood. In this position, the Senior Civil Engineer will lead and conduct various civil engineering design tasks, including the preparation of civil site plans, zoning permit submissions, and stormwater management designs. Familiarity with the Philadelphia Water Department Stormwater Management Guidelines and the Philadelphia Code is essential. The candidate will also be responsible for preparing technical specifications, conducting quantity take-offs, and developing construction schedules. Additionally, the role involves coordinating with clients, organizing fieldwork efforts, and mentoring junior staff, including engineers and interns. The successful candidate will be proficient in software such as AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite, and will be expected to stay current with design criteria and technology. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects under budget and on schedule are crucial for this role. Candidates must also be willing to travel to project sites as needed and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
