As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our extensive backlog of projects, which presents ample opportunities for career advancement. Your expertise will be crucial in navigating construction permits, sediment control, and water/wastewater management, making a significant impact on the projects you oversee. We are looking for a candidate who possesses a BS in Civil Engineering or a related field, along with a Professional Engineer licensure. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in civil engineering and site design, demonstrating proven expertise in the relevant areas. Strong time-management, communication, and collaboration skills are essential, as is proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, SWMM, HEC/RAS, and Civil 3D. Responsibilities

  • Lead civil engineering projects from conception to completion.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and deliver effective solutions.
  • Prepare and review engineering designs, plans, and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding construction permits and environmental standards.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to inform project planning.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and interns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in civil engineering and site design.
  • Proven expertise in construction permits, sediment control, and water/wastewater management.
  • Strong time-management, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SWMM, HEC/RAS, and Civil 3D; familiarity with MicroStation is a plus.
  • Experience with roadways, site grading, utilities, lift stations, and stormwater management.
