In this position, the Senior Engineer will utilize their extensive skills and knowledge to prepare engineering calculations and supporting analyses, develop comprehensive design plans and reports, and manage project scopes, budgets, and schedules. Collaboration is key, as the engineer will coordinate with contractors and clients, attend client meetings, and work closely with other team members to ensure project success. The role may also involve additional duties as required, making it essential for the candidate to be adaptable and proactive in their approach to work.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • BS/MS in Environmental or Civil Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License.
  • 10-20 years of Landfill/Solid Waste experience.
  • Ability to work on multidisciplinary project work.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Self-starter and problem solver.
  • Excellent organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, HEC-RAS, and ArcGIS software.
  • Knowledge of landfill operations and solid waste projects.
  • Knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations.
