As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of civil engineering and site design. Your expertise will be crucial in managing construction permits, sediment control, and water/wastewater management. The role requires strong time-management skills, effective communication, and the ability to collaborate with team members and clients alike. You will also be expected to utilize your proficiency in software tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, SWMM, HEC/RAS, and Civil 3D, while familiarity with MicroStation will be considered a plus. Your versatility in handling projects related to roadways, site grading, utilities, lift stations, and stormwater management will be essential to your success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee civil engineering projects from conception to completion.
  • Manage construction permits and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Implement sediment control measures and manage water/wastewater systems.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements.
  • Utilize engineering software for design and analysis tasks.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and team members.
  • Ensure project timelines and budgets are adhered to.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in civil engineering and site design.
  • Proven expertise in construction permits, sediment control, and water/wastewater management.
  • Strong time-management, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SWMM, HEC/RAS, and Civil 3D.
  • Familiarity with MicroStation is a plus.
  • Experience with roadways, site grading, utilities, lift stations, and stormwater management.
