Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute civil engineering projects from conception to completion.
  • Ensure compliance with construction permits and sediment control regulations.
  • Oversee water and wastewater management systems.
  • Collaborate with clients across private, public, and federal sectors.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and staff.
  • Prepare and review engineering designs, plans, and specifications.
  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for various projects.
  • Utilize software tools such as Civil 3D, SWMM, and HEC/RAS for project design and analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in civil engineering and site design.
  • Proven expertise in construction permits, sediment control, and water/wastewater management.
  • Strong time-management, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SWMM, HEC/RAS, and Civil 3D; familiarity with MicroStation is a plus.
  • Experience with roadways, site grading, utilities, lift stations, and stormwater management.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with MicroStation software.
  • Experience in managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of local and federal regulations related to civil engineering.
