As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of civil engineering and site design, ensuring compliance with construction permits, sediment control, and water/wastewater management. Your expertise will be essential in delivering high-quality projects that meet client expectations and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee civil engineering projects from conception to completion.
  • Ensure compliance with construction permits and sediment control regulations.
  • Manage water and wastewater management projects effectively.
  • Collaborate with clients across private, public, and federal sectors.
  • Utilize Civil 3D, SWMM, and HEC/RAS for project design and analysis.
  • Conduct site grading, utility design, and stormwater management planning.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and interns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering and site design.
  • Proven expertise in construction permits, sediment control, and water/wastewater management.
  • Strong time-management, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SWMM, HEC/RAS, and Civil 3D.
  • Familiarity with MicroStation is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with roadways and site grading.
  • Knowledge of utilities and lift stations.
  • Familiarity with stormwater management practices.
