About the position

The importance of water to the health of our world can't be overstated. As the frequency and intensity of floods, droughts, and storms increases, the water industry must continue to build resiliency and lead from the front. Together with our clients, we are thinking and doing things differently to help pre-empt and prepare for what's next. Be a part of this dynamic and committed team of diverse engineers and water specialists and drive change for your community. You'll be able to apply our powerful global network of skills and decades of experience to create positive water outcomes that respect nature and nurture communities. We are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join our group of civil engineers in the Northeast region of the US! In this role, you will join multi-disciplined teams in the planning, design, and construction engineering site-development projects for our wide range of municipal and private clients. We're seeking the curious, those who are stimulated by fresh thinking and a desire to shape our communities in new, positive ways. As part of a truly global team, working on complex and rewarding projects, you'll be at the forefront of driving change. Working with an energetic and high-performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in assisting with the preparation of site plans, technical reports, design drawings, contract documents, cost estimates, and permit applications for projects. You will also be responsible for the development of land development plans and attendance at municipal meetings, site grading, building layouts, access road design, and stormwater management designs for various sites. Navigating local, county, and state regulations and permitting requirements will be a key part of your role, as well as providing mentorship and development advice to junior level staff.
