Responsibilities

  • Lead civil engineering projects from conception to completion.
  • Oversee the preparation of construction permits and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Manage sediment control and water/wastewater management tasks.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Utilize engineering software such as Civil 3D, SWMM, and HEC/RAS for project design and analysis.
  • Conduct site assessments and evaluations for various projects.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices in civil engineering.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is required.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in civil engineering and site design.
  • Proven expertise in construction permits, sediment control, and water/wastewater management.
  • Strong time-management, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SWMM, HEC/RAS, and Civil 3D; familiarity with MicroStation is a plus.
  • Experience with roadways, site grading, utilities, lift stations, and stormwater management.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with MicroStation software.
  • Experience in managing large-scale civil engineering projects.
