Our Boise, ID office is seeking a Senior Civil or Environmental Engineer who possesses high-level expertise in managing complex environmental investigation and remediation projects. This role is pivotal in building strong client relationships that align with our revenue goals and integrating our civil and environmental practice service offerings into Tetra Tech's global team. As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing programs and projects that not only meet client needs but also enhance our service portfolio. In this position, you will rapidly integrate into Tetra Tech, leveraging our diverse resources and service offerings. Collaboration with operations and technical team members is essential to advance business development and project implementation. You will work closely with operational leadership to define key technical practice areas, client pursuits, and revenue growth goals. Your leadership will be crucial in identifying necessary resources, developing business strategies, and mentoring team members. As the Senior Account Lead for strategic client accounts, you will ensure high-value services are delivered while cross-selling services beyond your technical expertise. You will also engage with Tetra Tech's remediation management team to analyze client account potential and market opportunities. Your role will involve RFP management, proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and project implementation, all aimed at capturing new orders and driving revenue growth. Your ability to engage and retain relationships with various sectors, including commercial, industrial, and government clients, will be vital in generating opportunities. You will be expected to demonstrate your impact on new order capture within your first year, with a goal of achieving $1M in revenue annually over the next two to five years. Participation in industry events to promote Tetra Tech's expertise will further enhance your role in this dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain client relationships to achieve predefined revenue goals.
  • Integrate civil and environmental practice service offerings into Tetra Tech's global team.
  • Collaborate with operations and technical team members to advance business development and project implementation.
  • Define key technical practice areas, client pursuits, and revenue growth goals with operational leadership.
  • Provide senior leadership support focusing on resource identification, business strategy development, and team member mentoring.
  • Serve as Senior Account Lead for strategic client accounts, ensuring high-value service delivery.
  • Cross-sell services outside of technical practice areas and provide programmatic support for interdisciplinary services.
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of client account potential and market opportunities with the remediation management team.
  • Manage RFPs, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and implement projects effectively.
  • Engage and retain relationships with clients across various sectors to facilitate opportunity generation.
