Parsons is seeking a Senior Civil/Highway Engineer to join our New York City team, where you will have the opportunity to apply your civil engineering skills to significant projects that will positively impact our community. This role involves leading and contributing to the design of various infrastructure projects, including streets, highways, interchanges, and railroad sites. You will be responsible for a wide range of engineering tasks, including the development of engineering studies, designs, estimates, and construction documents. Your expertise in NYCDDC/NYCDOT design will be crucial as you work in a highly flexible, team-oriented environment alongside other engineers and subcontractors. In this position, you will utilize engineering software such as AutoCAD and Microstation to create civil/highway design plans, profiles, sections, and details that meet client quality requirements. You will also prepare and supervise technical reports, cost estimates, specifications, and other contract documents. As a Senior Engineer, you will support multi-disciplinary design development teams to ensure successful project execution and provide support for other engineering activities as required. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about working on large-scale projects and has exceptional communication, analytical, and management skills.
