Volt is seeking a Senior Civil Project Engineer to join our team in Albuquerque, NM. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the conceptual design of projects, determining fees, and preparing proposals. You will complete Project Setup Forms and fill out work authorizations to ensure that all project documentation is in order. A key aspect of your role will be to establish a Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) plan for each project, ensuring that all engineering work meets the highest standards of quality and compliance. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, guiding them in their career development and helping to foster a collaborative team environment. As a Senior Civil Project Engineer, you will also be responsible for following up on the collection of account receivables, ensuring that project finances are managed effectively. This position is a full-time, direct hire opportunity, offering a competitive salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 per year, based on various factors including education, experience, and specific job duties. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in civil engineering design, with at least ten years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree in civil engineering. You will need to demonstrate excellent time management and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently for extended periods. Strong written, technical, and interpersonal skills are essential, as is a commitment to client service and a team-based approach.
